Turkish Cuisine Wins Over Visitors at the World Food Festival in Beijing

At the World Food Festival in Beijing, held from 12 to 23 June 2025 with 35 participating countries, we were proud to represent Turkish cuisine as TAŞPAKON. Around 65,000 people visited the festival. For four days, an average of 2,000 portions of traditional Turkish food were prepared each day and warmly received by Chinese guests and international visitors. The response once again demonstrated the strength of Türkiye’s culinary heritage on the world stage.

After the festival, National Cuisine Movement President Öner Çulfaz said: “We are proud to have represented our country and cuisine at such an important international event. The Chinese public’s strong interest in Turkish flavours and their positive feedback made us very happy. We will continue our work to introduce our culture to the world through food. I thank all the colleagues and chefs who contributed.”
