With the Pride of Our Republic, Flavors from Our Seven Regions in Mostar

At the celebration held at the Consulate General of the Republic of Türkiye in Mostar on the occasion of the October 29 Republic Day, delicacies from the seven regions of Turkish cuisine were presented to high-ranking officials from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Representing the National Cuisine Movement (Milli Mutfak Movement), our young chefs—Mert Veli Arabacı, Nagihan Arabacı, Buğra Orhan, İbrahim Tekin, and Doğukan Aktaş—brought the richness of our culinary culture and the hospitality of our tables to Mostar.

Our President, Öner Çulfaz, stated the following:

“We take great pride in celebrating our Republic Day by showcasing our deep-rooted culinary heritage in our friendly nation, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Each delicacy from our seven regions bears traces of our history, our land, and our shared memory.

The fact that our young chefs have embraced this heritage and brought it to an international table strengthens our faith in the future. As the National Cuisine Movement, we will continue to promote Turkish cuisine globally, create opportunities for our youth, and build bridges of friendship between nations through the medium of food.

I would like to thank the Consulate General of the Republic of Türkiye in Mostar for hosting this meaningful gathering, as well as our guests and our dedicated young chefs.”

One nation at a single table; friendship shared at the same table…
Long live the Republic!
