The Bridge 2026 Opens in Hammamet, Tunisia

The Bridge 2026 opened in Hammamet, Tunisia. The gathering uses gastronomy to bring the culinary cultures of different countries together and build lasting connections between nations and peoples.
With the valued participation and support of Türkiye’s Ambassador to Tunisia, Ahmet Misbah Demircan, Turkish cuisine was presented and sampled through a collaboration between the Yunus Emre Institute in Tunisia and the Confederation of All Chefs and Pastry Chefs.
The National Cuisine Movement believes that a people’s culture lives not only in history books, but also at the table, and that a country’s strength grows through the values it shares with the world. The cultural bridge established in Tunisia is more than an event: it is a message to the world expressed through the language of Turkish cuisine. As we introduce our ancient flavours, we also strengthen friendship, unity, respect, and cultural exchange. Gastronomy is one of the quickest ways to build friendship between peoples. We warmly thank Ambassador Demircan, the Yunus Emre Institute in Tunisia, the participating chefs and pastry chefs, and all event partners. Our aim is clear: not only to talk about Turkish cuisine, but to let the world taste it.
